NJWEEDMAN’S JOINT: ‘The Happiest Place on Earth’ Announces COVID-19 Conscious Operating Procedures for the Cannabis Nation
CANNABIS CULTURE – Co-Owner Debi Madaio, a Registered Nurse, to Launch Daily Livestream Video Reports on State of the 420 Union, Starting TOMORROW @ 4:20 p.m. EST
TRENTON, NJ (Thu., March 19, 2020) – In accordance with New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s mandate to limit restaurants to takeout and delivery, and for entertainment businesses to cease operations at 8 p.m. EST, NJWEEDMAN’S JOINT, the groundbreaking 420-friendly lounge concept increasingly recognized as “The Happiest Place on Earth” announces new COVID-19 conscious operating procedures designed to continue serving the global cannabis consumer by keeping them well-informed in a safe, friendly environment
Under the supervision of co-owners Debi Madaio, a registered nurse, and her partner, location namesake and notorious cannabis advocate Edward “NJWeedman” Forchion, the combination restaurant, performance venue and “safe space” for medical-marijuana consumers will continue offering takeout and delivery from its acclaimed healthy dining and “Best and Only Munchie Menu in New Jersey.” The always blooming Stash Stop, featuring a wide variety of pot-related items and souvenir merchandise for the cannabis consumer, including a full line of CBD products and outerwear, also will remain open. The outerwear line of T-shirts and hoodies also is available online at www.njweedmansjoint.
All live events, however, from bands to comedians to yoga classes, and beyond, are being paused for the time being pending further announcements. Updates are being posted daily on the NJWEEDMAN’S JOINT Facebook Page, or simply call the Joint at (609) 437-0898.
Starting tomorrow (Friday, March 20), potheads around the world are encouraged to tune in daily at 4:20 p.m. EST to the Live Stream section of NJWeedmansJoint.com for “Joint Accounts,” a new COVID-19 conscious live streaming report on the State of the 420 Union, originating in high-definition from the Indoor Stage. With 420 Month less than two weeks away and the Joint’s five-year anniversary arriving in May, Madaio, as both a registered nurse, card-carrying medical marijuana patient, and co-proprietor of this visionary business operation, will be providing updates to the Cannabis Nation on how to live responsibly during this time of crisis, as well as the latest news in the world of NJWEEDMAN’S JOINT and how everyone there is going above and beyond to do their part.
“We’re following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and the advisories of Gov. Murphy to mitigate the further spread of Covid-19,” says Madaio. “The health and safety of our visitors, artists and our employees our top priority. We’re making every effort to do what has to be done to keep the cannabis consumer, as well as our staff, safe and satisfied. We will continue to closely monitor developments and the efforts to contain this pandemic and look forward to reporting back to our community on a daily basis. In the meantime, we wish everyone a happy and healthy 420 Month.”
According to Forchion, a national media figure who was advocating – and risking arrest and incarceration – for legalization more than two decades before the overwhelming majority of state residents supported it (62 percent according to various surveys), the NJWeedman brand is a mission statement of sorts. Forchion was recently named #1 by InsiderNJ on its Cannabis Power List of the top 100 influential voices in the cannabis debate.
The phrase “cannabis culture” is the key to the Joint’s “big picture.” Now that society in general, and politics in particular, appear to be catching up to Forchion’s weed-positive philosophy, he and Madaio — both business and life partners — are energized and inspired to ensure that the Joint becomes the ultimate secure, stress-free and wellness-focused gathering place for those who already embrace cannabis and its many benefits, as well as the “cannabis-curious.”
To that end, the restaurant and nighttime activities schedule are just two primary elements of the Joint. There is also the Liberty Bell Temple III, the adjacent space where those who have been sanctioned by the state to avail themselves of medical marijuana can join a community of fellow medical tokers in a safe, welcoming environment.
Ultimately, Madaio and Forchion envision their 420-friendly entertainment emporium as the vehicle by which they can effect positive change in the world.
NJWeedman’s Joint, the newly expanded 420-friendly entertainment & wellness emporium, is located at 322 E. State St., Trenton, NJ 08608, directly across the street from Trenton City Hall. COVID-19 conscious hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday; and Noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Contact the Joint at (609) 437-0898. More info at www.njweedmansjoint.com.
